Learn more about the various ways we work with Vermont Real Estate Sellers:
Exclusive Right to Market Property Agreement:
The Seller gives our Real Estate Agency the sole and exclusive right to market his/her property.
Exclusive Agency Marketing Agreement:
The Seller retains the right to act on his/her own behalf.
Fee for Service:
The Seller clarifies what his/her needs are. We assist the Seller with specific areas of the real estate transaction for a specific fee. Below is an example of when Fee For Service is used:
A Seller has priced his/her property, has marketed the property on his/her own and has secured a Buyer. At this point, the Seller needs help in negotiating the deal, securing a signed Purchase and Sales Contract, and following through on one or more contract conditions.
Methods of Compensation:
While Fee For Service is based on a specific fee, compensation for the Exclusive Right and Exclusive Agency options may include but is not limited to: a flat fee, a percentage of the sales price, a fee as determined by both parties and/or a retainer fee. Please note all compensation is a negotiated amount.
